Starting back at square one, Because God only knows the monster I've become. The heart can be such a sacred place, But it's when it breaks do we see your reflection state. Mirrors hanging up on the wall, Provide a view of memories big and small. A glimpse in the future, a look at the past, The months they don't seem to move that fast. Second chances are tossed around, Like weightless clouds floating to the ground. It's been a while I've seen your face, Smiling at the hours together we made. I guess we're just not supposed to last, As the winter months approach us fast. Our love was not built to stand the cold, And together apart, we suffer, we grow old.

Live life full is what they say Don't let your love down alone some day Remnants of a shattered heart becomes Obstacles along the way. Time apart, you're set to embark, On a journey that'll lead you through the dark Those plans you made won't save the day And those scars will leave a mark And if you're on the road, don't you let go, Of the places that you know will lead you home. But if you should go alone someday, I won't be there for you along the way. Pack the camera up with our goodbyes, The snapshot of moments to live by We send our love and regards to the wind That's blown around in the sky. But if we make it, we'll never know, As our worlds around us have taken hold, Of the plans we made, the love we gave, All shattered by hope.

Things are falling around us, dear Whisper softly in my ear The plans you have, the dreams you dream Because I cannot hold on in fear, My love, my love. Take what you want, the time that you need, Instill a space like an empty field, The hours and days, they tick away And you will slowly move away from me, My love, my love. Hold me now, forever enclosed Or let me down, my heart it can't hold The science of lying, the art of denying The masterpiece of letting me down Shiver, my love, I'm chilled to the bone My soul is empty, my heart is like stone And I'm fighting and fighting, You know I'd die trying To give you the love that you don't deserve. Hands are heavy, there's nothing to feel Hearts are empty, as nothing is real The lights don't flicker, we're falling quicker Into the darkness with no way to appeal My love, my love. Somehow through all of the things that were said, I cannot let go of the things in my head, I want to move on, be happy alone But I cannot forget all of the times we own My love, my love.
